HospiVision - Changing lives. Giving hope.

Plan, implement and manage spiritual care programmes

HospiVision Counselling and Spiritual Care is an indispensable and integrated part of the hospital landscape. While we are situated in the scientific, medical world of the hospital environment, we are at the same time in conversation with the disciplines of theology and psychology. HospiVision Counselling and Spiritual Care is in the unique and privileged position to acknowledge and address the human being in its holistic complexity. Both in our approach and practice we try to harmonize the delicate balance of body, soul and spirit.

HospiVision Counselling and Spiritual Care is concerned with healing of patients and their families. Not necessarily only physical healing, although it is of course the main purpose of why patients are admitted. We are, however, intensely interested in helping patients to find meaning and hope in their experiences of illness and suffering.

We are a bridge that links the area of the medical field, with the areas of the psychological and spiritual. We work with a Christian approach and underscore those values.

Additional services that are offered include:

  • Short programs and /or ceremonies on special calendar days. Nurses day, Aids Day, World Prayer Day, Christmas and Passover never go unnoticed.
  • Take part or present, numerous hospital support programs, like the Employee Assistance Program and the Trauma Management Team Program.
  • Continuous, weekly training to our volunteer team.
  • Practical experience and guidance to university students from both the theology and psychology fields.
