The target group for the HospiVision Children’s Care Train
The following are the target groups and estimated numbers who will benefit through the HospiVision Children’s care train:
- 1 000 Terminally and chronically sick children registered with Tshwane District Hospital’s 3 HIV/AIDS clinics
- 1 411 Terminally and chronically sick children admitted to Steve Biko Hospital in 2009
- 34 103 Terminally and chronically sick children seen as Outpatients at Steve Biko Hospital in 2009
- 958 Terminally and chronically sick children admitted to Ward 1 Tshwane District Hospital during 2009
