We’re excited to share the transformation of our training centre at Tshwane District Hospital – a space dedicated to chaplaincy training and various other developmental courses. Over the past few weeks, this facility has undergone a much-needed renovation to improve both safety and functionality.
Before the upgrades, the centre showed clear signs of wear and tear. Cracked wooden railings, outdated floors, and aging bathrooms made the space less than ideal for learning and reflection. Thanks to dedicated support and collaboration, the space has been revived with a fresh new look and practical improvements.
Here’s what’s new:
-
Steel Railings: The old, cracked wooden railings around the wooden house have been replaced with sturdy steel railings – ensuring the safety of everyone using the facility.

-
Updated Kitchen Area: The kitchen has been fully renovated to support longer training sessions and cater to the needs of both facilitators and participants.
-
Improved Walkways: The pathways leading to and from the training centre have been updated, making the space more accessible.
-
Refreshed Bathrooms: A complete bathroom makeover brings a sense of dignity and cleanliness to those using the space.

-
Painted Walls & New Flooring: Fresh paint and modern flooring give the interior a clean, professional feel that supports focus, comfort, and learning.
