HospiVision is proud to partner with the Excel Theological Training Academy (ETTA) to offer this SAQA-accredited training programme. This comprehensive course is designed to equip aspiring hospital chaplains with the essential pastoral, spiritual, and counselling skills required to provide high-quality support to patients, families, and medical staff within healthcare settings.
Course Structure
This is a full-time commitment that blends theoretical learning with hands-on application.
Theoretical modules are facilitated in person at the HospiVision Training Centre (situated on the premises of the Tshwane District Hospital).
Learners are required to complete supervised practical hours on a weekly basis at hospitals in Pretoria to gain vital real-world experience.
Please note that this programme is offered in-person only. There is no online option available.
Applicants are required to have a matric certificate. However, relevant prior learning may be recognised at the discretion of Excel Training Academy.
Fees
Below is the fee structure for the 2-year duration of the course. All fees are payable directly to ETTA.
