Online Delivery

This is a fully online short course run via Google Classroom. You can study from the comfort of your home.

Course Structure

• Watch: You must watch each video module.
• Reflect: Complete reflection exercises after videos.
• Quiz: Pass the quizzes to progress.
• Essay (UP Only): If you selected the UP certificate option, you must submit a final essay.

Access: Once enrolled, you will receive a link via email (or find it in your Student Portal on this website) to join the classroom.

Financial Support

Partial funding is available. Please note that both the bursary and scholarship only cover the R1100.00 course fee (Hospivision Certificate). They do not cover the additional cost for the UP certificate.

1. Diaconia Bursary

You qualify for this bursary if you are a member of:

• Dutch Reformed Church
• Calvin Protestant Church
• United Reformed Church

2. John Templeton Foundation Scholarship

If you are not a member of the above churches, you may apply for this scholarship.

How to Apply: Please select the relevant Bursary/Scholarship option from the "Payment Method" dropdown at the top of this page and complete the application form via our website.

Enrollment Process

All online short courses must be purchased directly through our website.

Payment Methods

• Card Payment: Secure online payment for immediate enrollment.
• EFT (Bank Transfer): Select "EFT" at checkout. Your course access will be activated once funds have cleared.

Refund Policy

Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds for courses not attended, but we can give you a credit note that is valid for 12 months. You can attend any of our short courses, or you may transfer the credit note to someone else.

Note: If applying for a bursary, your enrollment will be pending approval of your application.
