At Hospivision, we walk alongside patients in public hospitals, offering spiritual and emotional support when it’s needed most.
One of our dedicated teams visits Stikland Psychiatric Hospital weekly, spending time with incredible women and men—listening, encouraging, and simply being present.
Many of these patients stay for extended periods, often with very little to stimulate their minds or lift their spirits. They’ve shared one simple wish: books to read.
That’s why we’re reaching out to our community to help us build a small library of hope—not just for Stikland, but for all the hospitals we serve. This includes adults, teens, and children, so we gladly accept children’s books, magazines, and books in any language.
If you have gently used books or magazines to donate, please:
– Drop them off at Tygerberg Hospital, Cape Town or Tshwane District Hospital
– Email us at growth@hospivision.org.za
– Or let us know if you’re in the Cape Town area—we’ll gladly collect!
Together, we can offer comfort, dignity, and a moment of escape through the gift of reading—for all ages.
